| Waipio Wayside Bed and Breakfast, Honokaa, Hawaii, is a traditional B&B in a historical sugar plantation home surrounded by tropical gardens. We offer five rooms all with private bathrooms. The inn is located halfway between Kona and Hilo and is close to many of the Big Island's main attractions. Waipio Valley, known as the Hawaiian Valley of the Kings boasts a mile long black sand beach and the highest free falling waterfall in the United States. You can easily spend three hours or three days exploring this incredible tropical rain forest. Waipio Wayside Inn has been carefully restored and provides you with all of the modern conveniences while maintaining its old world charm. Each of the five bedrooms have their own unique character, all have private bathrooms, good reading lights, fluffy towels and tropical flowers. The Chinese and Plantation rooms have bathtub shower combinations so you can have a good soak after your long hikes. |
